Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie was formally inducted as Ghana’s new Chief Justice on Monday, November 17, 2025, by President John Dramani Mahama during a ceremony held at the Jubilee House that underscored the importance of judicial leadership.
His elevation, confirmed by Parliament last week, follows the dismissal of former Chief Justice Gertrude Torkonoo, creating the vacancy now filled and prompting renewed discussion about the Judiciary’s direction.
