Recruitment for Police, Immigration, Fire, and Prisons Services opens again: Here’s How to Apply

Ghana’s internal security institutions

The nationwide recruitment exercise for Ghana’s internal security institutions officially kicks off today, Monday, November 17, 2025, at exactly 12 noon as the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP) becomes accessible for applications.

A public announcement indicates that the portal will stay open until Friday, 19th December 2025, giving interested applicants a full month to submit entries to the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ghana Prisons Service.

Applicants must obtain a voucher strictly through two approved options: by dialing the USSD code 71303# on any mobile network or visiting any GCB Bank outlet nationwide.

The notice also stressed a crucial directive, stating that “Applicants must state clearly which Agency’s voucher they want to purchase at both voucher acquisition channels mentioned above.”

This requirement is meant to guarantee that all applications are correctly assigned to the appropriate security agency from the beginning.

The C-SERP platform was created to simplify recruitment into the security services, ensuring a more open and user-friendly process.

Authorities further underlined the government’s dedication to an honest system, issuing a firm warning against fraudulent individuals.

“There are no intermediaries involved in the recruitment and selection process. Stay alert and avoid falling victim to anyone claiming to secure placement at a FEE.

The C-SERP system is transparent, fair, and accessible to every qualified Ghanaian,” the notice emphasised.

This reminder follows ongoing public concerns about individuals who prey on job seekers by promising them positions in highly sought-after state agencies in exchange for money.

The notice also warned that providing inaccurate details or submitting forged documents may result in immediate disqualification and possible legal action.

All qualified Ghanaians wishing to apply should visit https://cserpgh.com, follow the instructions carefully, and confirm they meet all eligibility requirements before beginning the process. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for the next phase of screening.
